Commercial products are boring!
The experience of making real noodles from zero-based ramen flour
that's the Ramen Slashing Experience!

The soba slashing technique that has been used since the Edo period has been applied to ramen.
The know-how cultivated through the soba-noodle-making experience is incorporated into ramen, which can be made in just 30 minutes!
You can experience an authentic handmade experience without using any machines.
This is the best entertaining noodle-making experience using high-grade domestic flour developed exclusively for ramen!
Just stand in line and eat? The time has come to make and enjoy “My Ramen”.

In this modern age, Japanese ramen can be made commercially or frozen and very tasty.
In addition, major chain restaurants offer delicious ramen at amazing prices.
It is precisely because we live in such an era that we need to go back to the basics and experience making ramen by hand, starting with the noodles.
That is, “soup is made by feel, noodles are made by science.”
Even if you study, soup making is something that is cultivated with time, effort, and experience, and cannot be imitated.
It is something that cannot be imitated. It requires a tongue that you were born with and a sense of taste that you cultivated in your childhood.
However, noodle making is different.
SOBAGIRI RAKUJYO is a store where you can experience such science in just 30 minutes.

Why Choose RAKUJYO

Craftsmanship involves a great deal of enjoyment in using tools. We support our customers’ noodle making by selecting appropriate tools and, if none are available, making our own tools.

A technique that can be done by children can be enjoyed by adults. Instead of a formula designed to be used with a machine, a newly developed formula and technique specially developed for handmade products can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages.

We don’t want the experience to take place in a dark, cramped, powder-filled workshop located in the back of the store. You want a pleasant experience in a brightly lit atrium space designed specifically for the experience!

These three rules are what make the food fun,
enjoyable, and delicious.
Come on, let's go!

Ramen Slashing Experience FAQ

Of course. We view this as a food education program where you can learn the hard work of making things and the steps of food preparation by experiencing it with your children. We believe that it is important for children to simply enjoy the experience.

The space can accommodate up to 16 people in a single experience, and up to 30 people can experience the space at the same time by pairing up.

The process may seem similar, but the characteristics of the flour and buckwheat flour are quite different. Extra time is needed to explain each, but it can be done with a small group. 2 vs. 2 is fine.

No, we believe that soup making is not something that people teach you. It is a place where you work hard in solitude. The broth is taken from a variety of ingredients for several days in advance, so it cannot be mastered in a one-hour experience.

There is no time for aging in the experience. The noodles are not made by machine, which is a method to squeeze out as much water as possible, but by human power to knead them. The result is a very smooth noodle that is unlike anything you have ever experienced before.

Our store is a hands-on store and should be considered a fun activity to experience. We hope to inspire you to want to learn in earnest. We do issue cards for more casual workshops.

Please consider that our restaurant offers both ramen and soba experiences at the same time, and there is always buckwheat powder flying around. If you are allergic to buckwheat, there is a possibility of inhalation and you will not even be allowed to enter the restaurant.
